Bucket Truck Overview:
A bucket truck is used to lift workers to heights beyond the reach of ladders. They often come with a single or double arm boom and can be made of wood, fiberglass, metal, or reinforced plastic. These mobile aerial lifts are essential for tasks requiring height access, with the platform (bucket) attached to a hydraulic or electric lifting system. Operators must be trained in fall protection safety due to the elevated heights.
Scissor Lift
Also known as an aerial work platform, used primarily for general maintenance. It’s designed for easy setup and operation by a single person.

Also called a telescopic boom, ideal for confined areas in construction and industrial settings, with adjustable drive speeds.
